I almost become a nun...

The title was suggested by Mchyi..

as for why..well its because during my trip at Hatyai..

 I had visited 6 temples in one day XD

Most of the temples were situated at the top of the hill..luckily the van is able to drive up the hill and not us hiking up *I would definitely faint if I have to climb 5 hills @@*

Like I've mentioned in my previous post..I had to wake up at 4.30am and go to Bukit Mertajam before getting on a van which would bring us there..

The way there is quite bumpy and sitting at the last row isn't helping at all..it only worsen my condition making me nauseous throughout the 3 hour journey there..

Here's some of the pics of the temples I'd visited =)

1st temple

The temple where the preserved body of a monk is situated..and the interesting thing is that his hair still grows even though he's dead..i didn't snap pics of it as camera's are not allowed in

2nd temple

The temple is made up of steel with walls and floors painted gold..its pretty nice =)

They had bells like this where each bell represent a zodiac, day or month =)
This made my aunts and my mum and dad included to go ring the bells according to their zodiac etc..as they believe it will bring them luck..oh well no harm ringing the bell myself xD

The rooftop of the temple..its really stunning =D 

Another bell *which is huge*..I wonder if my aunts rang it as they seem to ring every bell they see xD

3rd temple

Actually this isn't a temple..its a HOTEL with a statue of Guan Yim by the lobby for people to pray to..kinda cool? LOL

4th temple

Don't really know how to describe this temple..it got a statue of brahma i think with 4 faces and the whole place is full of elephants *statue that is* 

A three headed elephant which is still under construction..too bad i can't get the front view xD

5th temple

Simply love the view =D

The dark clouds were because it was going to rain soon xD

6th temple and the last one I visited

Its a dragon and its like walking into its mouth..kinda cool =D

Zodiacs 

Another round of bell ringing..this time an extremely huge one xD

After all those temple visiting..we went back to the hotel and guess what I've found there..

These are actually mineral waters..but the bottle make me thought it was alcohol when i first saw it xD

Later at night we had seafood for dinner *yum*
While my mum and aunts were busy choosing the seafood..I entertained myself by watching the fishes in the fish tank =P
*they are just for display not to be eaten xD*

This fish keep trying to swim away when I try to snap its picture =(

The second day was also my last day there which is spent at the market..which is the time my mum and aunts do their big and long awaited shopping spree..you have no idea how many bags of stuff they bought @@

After that we had buffet lunch which is situated at the top floor of an hotel..the buffet was considered very cheap..only RM 15!!

However the same can't be said to the food...maybe because it doesn't suit my taste as the food displayed were quite different from the ones we had here in Penang xD

*Penang food is still the best after all =D*

After that its time to go home =D

I can seriously say..There's no place like home and I'm glad to be home =)

Going on a vacation tomorrow =D

I'm probably the most relax person alive xD

I have about 13 days to my external exam and yet I'm going on a 2 days 1 night trip to Hatyai.

The trip was suppose to be on 3rd of November..but due to the weather change that happened during that time..the trip was postponed to tomorrow.

I'm pretty excited for the trip as I've never been there before..
I had asked my mum what's interesting in hatyai..
Me : Hatyai got what interesting to see??
Mum : Nothing
Me : Huh?! If nothing then go for what??
Mum : Go see see la..since you all never go before..can go buy things =)

Btw..the "things" that she'd mentioned is not things that you buy when you go shopping..but she's going there to buy mugs, lotus seeds *I think*, etc..mostly things that you go to the market to buy..so now I'm not really sure whether to be excited anymore XP

 but there's one thing I really dread for this trip..

I HAVE TO WAKE UP BY 4.30AM TOMORROW!! =.=

I hate waking up early..as I'm not a morning person...

Going on this trip also means I get to skip class *heh heh*

But..there is always a disadvantage if there is an advantage..

I have to give up 2 days of studying time =(

*not like I could study much xD but at least I'll read something..*

Oh well..I'll just hope that when I'm back from the trip I will have the motivation and adrenaline rush to study and not the other way round *slacking even more due to holiday mood =.=*

Anyways good luck to those that are or will be sitting for exams and to those that are already having their term break *so syok*, Happy Holidays to you =)

P.S Will try to update pics of the trip *if I took any* asap..but most probably after the exams xD

Interesting Things That Bring Back Memories =)

I was browsing through the web searching for new and interesting display pics for my msn and I come across some that reminds me of my friends =)

This reminds me of  JULIA =D

 

This 2 reminds me of AMANDA as she always used the emoticon with that blue thing and fill the whole convo with that emoticon. The spongebob pic reminds me of her and JULIA as they are huge fans of spongebob =D

Since I couldn't find anything online that suits me..I went back to searching through my older files that I've got..and look what I've found =D

I loveee all this pics. Especially the meanings in them. It really does bring back memories.

And last but not least..

The logo that Eevy *if I'm not wrong* created for our ONE-OH-CLOCK group. I miss those times so much..

Times where we would randomly come out a name for our group and call ourself one-oh-clock just because it was one and its almost time to go home xD

Hope to meet all my friends soon as its the holiday season soon *and for some its already the holiday season* 

I am and will always miss all of you <3

I so need my motivation back!

MY EXAM IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!! 

6th of December to be exact..

which is 21 days left!!

And yet..where is my motivation!! T_T

Current status:

Motivation = 0%

Progress = 2%

I seriously need to search for my motivation..its supposed to come back by now and yet it still haven't T_T

I wish I was panicking now and maybe with that I can finally kick start my motivation =D

but unfortunately its not working =(

At the meantime, I'm glad that Chen Ni and Eevy is back to Penang again =D

2 days ago I met up with Chen Ni, Kha Rynn and Carmen at Queensbay. It was fun to hang out with them and eat delicious Japanese food at Sakae Sushi *yummy*

And the total of our bill is RM 88.80. Such a nice number. Anyone interested in buying Toto??

After our delicious and filling dinner *we drank too much green tea XD* we followed Chen Ni to go buy her Green Tea Hokkaido ice cream..and she can actually still eat the ice cream just after such a filling dinner..my stomach feel so bloated that it couldn't fit in anything else @@

Anyways after Chen Ni got her ice cream, we went to the arcade =D 

To be honest I never stepped into the new arcade at queens before xD. We played Daytona and House of the Dead 2. It was fun and really miss all those times where we would always play Daytona at the arcade together <3

Soon it was almost time for our movie. We decided to watch Takers and went to buy "Each a cup" and sneak it into the cinema with us. The movie was not bad..quite intriguing at some scenes and I just had to run to the toilet during the most "kin cheong" scene =.=

The trip to the cinema toilet alone is as usual freaky. Especially when there is a poster of a horror movie right outside the cinema hall you are in which makes it impossible not to see it when coming out of the hall =.=

The toilet is so quiet and thanks to my imaginative mind, I tend to freak myself out sometimes *my brain just had to be so imaginative at times like this =( *

The movie ended quite late. It was 11.30 when it ends and the whole mall is deserted except the cinema floor.  At that time only me and Carmen were left. Chen Ni was with her parents and Kha Rynn left early due to her headache. Worst of all, we both parked our cars at different place. She parked hers at the basement and I parked mine outside. End up we decided to go to her car first then she would drive out to my car. We had to drive through so many holes on the ground of the outdoor parking lot just to pay my parking ticket. It seriously is like a roller coaster ride. 

It was a fun outing nonetheless. We couldn't have these outings as often as we used to due to our different schedule so it was fun to get together once in a while. =D

Tomorrow I'll be having breakfast with Eevy. Can't wait to meet her =D

Something I Cherish, Friendship.

Two days ago, I presented my second speech for toastmaster. The speech was titled "Something I Cherish, Friendship."

I was so nervous when it was my turn to make my speech. When I stepped in front of the crowd my mind went totally blank. I forgotten every thing that I've prepared *which is just the afternoon before the toastmaster's meeting xD I know I'm a last minute person* 

My opening was a mess as I had forgotten what I've prepared and so there are constant pauses where I tried to remember what I've prepared. By the time I reach the body, my mind is in a total mess. I could only remember bits of what I've prepared. Therefore, here comes in my impromptu. I recalled back any memories that I've had, put it into sentences and speak it out. This really brings back a lot of memories...

"I remember the times we would be sms-ing each other during exam season so as to make sure each other is still awake and not fall asleep from studying. I also missed all those times when we would be panicking together as we see the exams coming nearer and nearer and yet not studying..."

"I also had an extremely random friend who would do a Hawaiian dance move while walking in the middle of the mall.."

These are some of the things I've mentioned in my speech..

"Only when we were graduating, do I realize how much they mean to me. How fast the years passed by. We were growing up together and now we are going to part..."

At this point of the speech, my tears had start to well up at my eyes. I paused for a while trying to control my tears from dripping down. My voice started to shake but I manage to finish the speech in 7 minutes and 27 seconds and hold in my tears until I went back to my sit. Thats when I couldn't hold it in any longer and it just flow out. It was embarrassing to cry in front of so many people and I do know that many were looking my way. 

Here's the evaluation for my speech...  

 I'm glad that my speech turn out well *I guess* despite all the pauses and shaky voice..

There were one or two that approached me and say that they liked my speech but I was still in tears that I had to cover my face when I thanked them xD

Anyways, this speech had made me reminisce all the times we had together at CGL..all the hang outs..all the chit chatting sessions..all the nonsense we made..and all the times we spent with each other..

I miss all of you so much and I like to say..you guys are the bestest friends I've ever had <3
